After many years working as an in-house FileMaker developer, Corey has decided to take the leap and become a full time developer. He has developed databases for his jobs at UCLA, The Alex Theatre, and The Miss Universe Pageant. Information about his new venture can be found at Pacific Kaizen.
Born in Ohio, Corey attended Ohio State University where he stage managed and directed many shows including his Undergraduate Honors Thesis on different interpretations of King Lear.
In 1998, he decided to experience the world and lived overseas teaching English. He spent 4 years in China and a year in Spain. He has also traveled to Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, France, Ireland, Belgium, Morocco, and The UK. As a result, he speaks (Mandarin) Chinese, and has some ability to communicate in French and Spanish (and on a good day, English).
In his career in the performing arts, he has worked with a number of prestigious theater organizations including A Noise Within, Royce Hall at UCLA and the Mark Taper Forum. He has also worked on television shows like The Nanny, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, GSN Live, and The ShowBiz Show with David Spade. He was also the Assistant to the Producer for the Warner Bros. film One Missed Call.
